Georgetown Students Attend Dumbarton Oaks’ Undergraduate Teaching Day

The Dumbarton Oaks Undergraduate Teaching day gave Georgetown Global Medieval Studies students an opportunity to meet leading scholars and other medieval studies students in D.C. They learned about gift-giving in Byzantium and Medieval Europe through lectures, object handling sessions, and tours of exhibitions. Students got to experience the work of a research institution like Dumbarton Oaks and see the Middle Ages come to life. We even got to touch coins that were hundreds of years old!
