“Premodern Worlds: A History Through Objects” podcast and website up and running!
Posted in Announcements
The Medieval Studies Program is excited to announce a new project, a series of podcasts on objects from the medieval world. These podcasts were the collective final project for Prof. Sarah McNamer’s fall 2019 course, “Premodern Worlds: A History Through Objects.”
Learn about what jewelry from the Byzantine Empire, a basin from Syria’s Ayyubid period, and a Chinese Buddhist altarpiece can tell us about the premodern world. You can browse through all of the podcasts on a newly launched website here.
Keep tabs on our Medieval Studies Domains website for more digital projects like this one.
